The K-8 After-School Program at the Honickman Learning Center Comcast Technology Labs focuses on raising literacy levels, encouraging a love of reading. increasing math skills, and engaging in hands-on, inquiry-driven, and student-centered projects that range across academic subjects. Math and literacy activities are enhanced through the use of award-winning web-based software programs such as Dreambox Learning and Reading Eggs.
Children are taught to be technologically savvy through the use of cutting-edge computers and educational software. Additionally, the after-school program offers students a chance to explore the arts and other enriching activities such as hip-hop dance, comic book drawing, and yoga.
