  • The Educating, Acquisition, Global Logistics, and Engineering (EAGLE) Program is an innovative initiative aimed at increasing, inspiring and supporting the academic achievement of high school students throughout the city of Philadelphia in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), in partnership with the Independence Seaport Museum (ISM), sponsors this program to provide a foundation on which students can obtain practical educational experiences that will expose them to various STEM career fields. EAGLE attracts, acquires, develops, promotes and retains quality talent and focuses on the strategic recruitment of diverse students. Students who participate in this program will:

    • Engage in fun hands-on projects throughout their participation in the program, including the construction of a sailboat and a SeaPerch submersible (underwater remotely operated vehicle)
    • Be assigned a NAVSUP WSS and/or ISM mentor who will provide guidance on academic and career opportunities within STEM-related fields
    • Have the opportunity to apply for part-time summer internships at NAVSUP WSS
