  • Graduate students in the chemistry program mentor 4th-6th graders from the local public schools. The goal of the program is to teach the students about the Scientific Method through engaging and interactive activities. We then advise and help construct science fair projects for entry in the George Washington Carver Science Fair. This is the 2nd year and we currently have 10-15 students from Druckery with the goal of expanding in the future. Last year we had 5 students, 3 of which entered the fair and 2 received medals!
